More Power Coming to Casula

A new electricity substation has been proposed for Casula, which should help offer more power for local residents.

At a cost of $28.4 million, the proposed power station could benefit 5000 local residents. Casula continues to experience growth, so a new power station is needed at some point or another to accommodate all of our new residents. A new development out at Glenfield, with 2100 new residences will especially require the new power source.

The new power station will be located on the corner of Box Rd and Myall Rd in Casula, with construction beginning later this year.
