There is a lot involved in selling a home successfully and in my last blog post I went over what is involved in finding a real estate agent, setting the right price and creating a marketing plan.

When selling your home, depending on its current condition, you may also like to consider making improvements to it and staging it, to help it sell quicker and for a better price.

Making Improvements – Making even the smallest improvements can help your home sell. If your home is looking a little dated then it might be worth painting, replacing floor coverings or fixing up anything else that could potentially put off buyers. It’s also a good idea to fix up the front yard to help boost curb appeal. You don’t want to overcapitalise though, so ask your real estate agent for their suggestions before giving your home a complete overhaul.

Staging Your Home – When you stage your home the goal is to make it look as appealing as possible to potential buyers. So obviously you need to clean it, get rid of clutter and present it at its absolute best. If you’re after some home-staging tips, I posted some in a previous blog.

There are a lot of things that can be done to help improve the outcome of your property’s sale. If you have any questions or are confused about anything than make sure you talk to your real estate agent and if you live in the Casula area then please give me a call on 9731 6204, and I will help you in any way that I can.
