The Casula Powerhouse has just welcomed a new director who, according to the Liverpool Leader, has big plans for our favourite arts venue.
Apparently markets, festivals and community exhibitions are among some of the plans that Kiersten Fishburn want to make to help the Casula Powerhouse become an exciting community arts hub.
Already locals love the Casula Powerhouse and it’s a great place to go on the weekends to catch a show, chill out with some music, or to see one of their latest exhibitions. But festivals and markets sound like they would be great too, and I’m sure the community would love new events to go to that would also help attract in more people from all around Sydney.
