Shaved heads and coloured hair has been the trend in Liverpool over the past few weeks, as people all around the area have been taking part in the Leukaemia Foundation’s World’s Greatest Shave.

There is estimated to be around 125,000 people taking part in the World’s Greatest Shave this year, all of whom are helping to raise much needed funds for the important work carried out by the Leukaemia Foundation.

Over the years more than a million people have drastically changed their locks to help raise over $120 million. All of these funds have helped keep the services offered by the Leukaemia Foundation free for those who need it.

If you haven’t helped contribute to the World’s Greatest Shave yet and would like to, there will be a shaving event at Planet Fitness Casula on Saturday March 31.

At the shaving event, Planet Fitness will provide clippers, razors, hair spray colours and hairdressers who will be on hand for those who are brave enough to shave or colour their locks. Planet Fitness only asks that people try and get as many donations for the cause that they can.

If you have registered for the World’s Greatest Shave and are interested in taking part in the event at Planet Fitness then remember to bring along your  receipt book on the day as proof of your registration. For those who haven’t registered yet you will need to contact Planet Fitness to receive pledge forms before the shave. For any further information contact Claire by emailing operations@planetfitness.com.au

Good luck to everyone who will be shaving and colouring their hair and trying to raise money for this fantastic cause. For those who would like more information about the World’s Greatest Shave you can visit www.worldsgreatestshave.com.
