Where Are The Best Liverpool Christmas Lights?

As December approaches, many Liverpool families will no doubt be on the lookout for the best Christmas lights to stroll past on their evening walks.  To save you all pounding the pavement with little return, our Professionals Paradise Realty team in Casula thought we’d get started on a list of addresses (that we can all add to over the coming month), to share some of the more elaborate Christmas lighting displays in our area.

The illumination of Christmas trees began as a tradition in Germany around the 18th Century when candles were attached to tree’s branches in upper-class houses.  With the obvious dangers of coupling burning candles with trees, we should all be thankful that it wasn’t long until candles were replaced by strings of lights.

These days, a flashing Christmas tree in the front window is just one of the many alluring sights that define Liverpool neighbourhoods around Christmas time.  When walking the streets of Liverpool and surrounding areas, it’s not unusual to be met with inflatable Santas, novelty candy canes, fake snow on roofs, and spectacular light shows.

Of course Christmas lights can go horribly wrong.  We all remember Clark Griswold’s hilarious attempt to put on a show for his neighbours with 25,000 twinkle lights, only to cause a black-out.  Whether you find excessive Christmas lights tasteful or tacky, I’m sure most parents can testify to the joy and wonderment twinkling Christmas lights typically bring to the faces of their children.

Our team at Professionals Real Estate in Casula thought we’d make life easier for those looking to get into the spirit of Christmas, and start a list of houses and/or streets with light displays that will leave your children wide-eyed and put the whole family in a joyous mood this Christmas.

As Christmas draws nearer, please help us out by adding the best lights in your Liverpool street or neighbourhood here.
