Easter Recycling TipsWe hope that everyone had a great Easter Sunday yesterday and got a few Easter treats.

For those who have found that they have a lot of rubbish leftover from all their Easter goodies, it’s important to dispose of all rubbish correctly and to recycle where possible.

Coloured Easter egg foil can be recycled, but as it is very thin and can be hard to recycle on it’s own, the best way to dispose of it is to collect all of your foil wrappers together and make them into a ball that can be placed in the yellow-lid recycling bin. If your Easter eggs came in cardboard boxes, these can be flattened and placed in the recycling bin too.

Of course if you use any glass or plastic bottles you should recycle them too, and if you’re unsure about what items should be placed in which bin then you can head to www.liverpool.nsw.gov.au/services/waste-and-recycling/your-resource-recovery-service for all further details about recycling and waste disposal in Liverpool.

We hope that everyone has enjoyed the Easter weekend so far, and that everyone recycles and disposes of Easter waste correctly to help keep Liverpool beautiful and clean.
