Lately everybody that comes into my Casula real estate office seems to be talking about Sydney’s rapidly growing population.
The latest population projections seem to show that by the year 2035 Sydney’s population will reach 6 million people! That’s 1.5 million more people than we have now!
What will all these new people mean for those of us who live around Sydney? It means that we’re going to need 1.5 million more job opportunities and 1.5 million more homes!
The only question is where are all of these jobs and homes going to come from? Luckily Sydney’s infrastructure keeps improving (which means more jobs) and as I mentioned last week there are lots of areas being developed around Sydney so hopefully this all helps to accommodate everyone as our population grows.
