Do you prefer country or city? Well in Liverpool it doesn’t matter which you prefer, because here you can enjoy the best parts of both.
I read a great article recently in the Liverpool Champion that likened Liverpool to Las Vegas. Not because we’re full of gambling and fluorescent lights, but rather because of the comparisons between the vast amounts of land and new development.
Here’s an excerpt – “Is the crispy green grass that the cows enjoy grazing on in rural Liverpool better than the small garden lawns in Liverpool City? It doesn't take too long to go from one to the other. I could be shopping at Westfield Liverpool one minute and 15 minutes later at a vegetable farm in Austral. You can still see a horse trod down a road in rural Liverpool but I have not yet seen a horse on the roads in Liverpool CBD. Maybe if they made a whole lane dedicated to them [like the T-way] they might be a great mode of transport.”
The diversity between the country and the city is one of the things that make this area so unique and great. You can live out in the peace and quiet and yet have all the conveniences of the city right at your door step.
