Liverpool must be full of avid readers and kids with book smarts because the Liverpool Library is the busiest library in the state!
With all of this reading Liverpool is hoping a new super library planned for Carnes Hill Shopping Centre in Horningsea Park will get just as much attention.
The new library is planned to be an information hub for Liverpool, providing state of the art facilities and learning programs. The shopping centre location of Liverpool’s latest library will also be great for those who want to stop into a library while out doing the grocery shopping or running errands.
The bad news though is that some of the smaller libraries in the area haven’t been as popular as Liverpool Library.
Libraries such as the ones in Casula, Green Valley, Miller and Moorebank haven’t been getting enough visitors. Because of this the Casula and Green Valley Libraries will be absorbed into the new library at Carnes Hill Shopping Centre, the Moorebank Library will be absorbed into the city library and the Miller Library will be relocating to a new shopping centre location too.
