A 50-hectare employment site at the former Hoxton Park Airport has just been approved by the State Government.
A $182 million plan has been proposed for the site, for new warehouses, distribution centres and light industry. So far approval has already been given for a Big W warehouse and a Dick Smith warehouse.
The new development is hopefully good news for western Sydney, as 2500 new jobs will be created due to the development. There will be a large variety of jobs on offer too, from construction jobs to operational jobs.
Minister for Western Sydney David Borger believes that the development will be a great investment for western Sydney.
