Liverpool residents have been celebrating Liverpool’s Bicentenary all throughout 2010 with competitions, celebrations and lots of fun events but this weekend is the main event – the Liverpool Bicentenary Festival.
This grand event will celebrate all the great things about the last 200 years of life in Liverpool, and it will be the closing event for the Liverpool Bicentenary celebrations.
The Liverpool Bicentenary Festival will be free for everyone and will include live music, dance acts, rides, jumping castles and activities for the kids. There will also be plenty of food and market stalls to see.
The festival will be taking place at Woodward Park in Liverpool on Sunday the 7th November from 3pm till 8pm.
