New free shuttle buses were introduced in Liverpool last week that will make getting around town a lot easier for local residents.
The new free ‘999’ Liverpool Shuttle will run as a continuous one way loop around Liverpool stopping at Liverpool Station, Liverpool Hospital, Liverpool CBD Library, medical centres, Westfield and the post office.
The Liverpool Shuttle will run every 20 minutes from Monday to Friday between 9am and 2.30pm and between 9am to 5.45pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
The shuttle is mainly aimed at servicing the needs of Liverpool’s shoppers and due to its operating times won’t be able to be used much by commuters and school travellers. The new shuttle bus is still exciting news for public transport in Liverpool though and hopefully in the future we can see more buses like it.
If you want to catch the bus you shouldn’t miss it as it is coloured a distinctive green colour, but if you would like any more information about it you should visit the Transport Infoline website at www.131500.com.au.
