The Liverpool City Council along with the ‘The Garage Sale Trail’ team (who hold garage sales all over Australia), are encouraging local residents to hold a garage sale on Sunday April 10.
Garage sales are a great way to recycle and get rid of any items that you no longer want, but others may find value in. Most people only hold garage sales when they move homes, but it’s a good idea to hold them at least once a year so you can pass on your old goods to other people, who may find them more useful. Garage sales are also a great way to help de-clutter your home.
It is hoped that Liverpool’s Garage Sale Trail will see residents all over the community holding their garage sales at the same time.
The Garage Sale Trail is free to join and if you take part then you can choose to contribute 10% of your earnings to the ‘Keep Australia Beautiful’ cause.
The first 100 Liverpool residents will even receive a free participant pack.
If nothing else the Liverpool’s Garage Sale Trail should be a heap of fun and a great way for local residents to find some great bargains or make a bit of extra pocket money.
