In a recent article posted by the Liverpool Leader, I was surprised to read that up to 40% of people living in and around Sydney didn’t actually choose their energy providers, instead opting to just go with whoever their default provider is.
With a number of options available to the market, and the cost of living being high on people’s agendas, I am intrigued as to why residents aren’t paying more attention to who provides their energy and what cost they may be able to save by shopping around.
The article outlines savings that consumers can make if they change to AGL for instance, but I’d like to offer some other options for choosing an energy provider.

Here is some important information from the NSW Government on choosing an energy provider and some of the fine-print details that you should be aware of before you make any changes.
Take some time to assess your energy provider and the options you have available in your local area, because there are some real savings that can be made for Liverpool and Casula residents!
