Who out there is friends with their neighbours? Do you drop over and ask for a cup of sugar when you run out? Or do you take each other’s bins out when the other goes on holidays?
If you don’t, you could be missing out, because as the famous soap opera tune goes “everybody needs good neighbours”.
But even though neighbours can add a lot to our lives and make living on your street all the better, I’m sure there are plenty of people in Casula who don’t even know the names of their next door neighbours!
With the new “Care for Your Neighbour” campaign being run by the Liverpool Leader, and events like Neighbour’s Day, I think it’s probably time that we all get to know our neighbours a little better and look out for one another.
There are so many benefits that can come with being friends with your neighbours, so how about making the effort this weekend and saying a quick “hello” to your neighbours?
