With New Year on its way, the silly season is still very much in full swing and local authorities are reminding people in the Casula community to stay safe during the party season, particularly on the roads.
With a lot of parties and celebrations taking place, it’s not hard for people to lose their concentration on the roads or to drive after having a few too many drinks.
Unfortunately though, this type of behaviour can lead to accidents, so make sure that you drive responsibly and be careful of others on the roads too. Also remember to look out for friends, and don’t let them drive if they have been drinking.
By all means have fun over the holidays, but if you do plan on going to parties, then plan how to get home beforehand, and choose a designated driver who won’t drink.
Hopefully everyone had a safe Christmas and we all continue to stay safe on the roads for the rest of the holidays too.
