The Liverpool Blood Donor Centre is currently looking for generous individuals to help build on much needed blood supplies.
According to a recent story in the Liverpool Champion, the blood centre has only been getting an average of between 28 and 30 donors a day when it is used to getting somewhere between 50 and 60.
Luckily the staff at the Liverpool Blood Donor Centre have been generous enough to donate themselves, but blood supplies are still desperately needed from the rest of the community too.
Australia needs almost 27,000 donations every week to help meet the demand of blood that is needed; so it is always a good time to donate. By taking just one hour out of you day you could help save up to 3 lives!
So if you are feeling generous then please consider taking the time to roll up your sleeves at the Liverpool Blood Donor Centre which is located at 50 Macquarie Street and is open Monday to Saturday.
If you would like to contact the Liverpool Blood Donor Centre for more information, you can call them on 9612 4003.
