After being back at work for a few days from the holidays, there are probably a lot of Casula residents that are looking forward to the next public holiday, which is of course coming up on Australia Day.
For a lot of Casula residents, Australia Day provides the perfect opportunity to get together with family and friends and enjoy a day by the pool or the beach with a good old-fashioned Australian barbecue.
Many local residents will probably also head along to the Liverpool community celebrations which will be taking place at Woodward Park in Liverpool on Australia Day.
The Australia Day Festival will kick off at 4pm and it will include live entertainment, a thong throwing competition, children’s activities, fireworks and much more.
Liverpool’s Australia Day Festival should be a great day out, but no matter how you choose to spend Australia Day, I hope you have a great day celebrating all of the wonderful things that make being an Australian great for you.
