Liverpool’s Relay of Life is almost ready to kick off again, so if you want to take part then it’s time to start organising your team.
The Relay for Life is a fun, community event that helps bring friends and family together to help raise much needed funds for Cancer Council.
The relay event takes place over 2 days meaning that participates need to camp through the night as teams of 10-15 people take it in turns to walk or run throughout the night.
This year’s Relay of Life event in Liverpool will be taking place at the Hilliar Oval on March 24 and 25.
Last year’s Relay for Life in Liverpool raised $50,000, but hopefully we can help raise even more this year to help the Cancer Council and support them in their amazing work into cancer research and trying to find a cure for this awful disease.
If you’re interested in taking part in the Relay for Life in Liverpool there will be information sessions held on March 12 and 19 at 6:30pm at the Casula Hub, but you can also find further information and register a team by heading to relay.cancercouncil.com.au/2012/liverpool_2012.
