If you want to learn how to create your own native habitat garden and care for native plants then you might be interested in heading to the Council’s free Sustainability Blitz Workshop this Saturday.
The workshop will have experts providing hands-on advice on how to grow a native garden that will help attract and protect local endangered animals and plants.
Those who attend the workshop can expect to learn about Liverpool’s native trees, shrubs and grasses and how they can be planted and looked after so they can thrive in your backyard.
Native gardens look great, are low maintenance, and they help improve local biodiversity for plants and animals in the local area.
The Sustainability Blitz Workshop should offer plenty of great tips and advice, and all participants will receive a free native plant.
The workshop will be taking place on Saturday September 1 from 10am at the Liverpool City Library. If you want to take part in the workshop then you can call the Council’s Contact Centre on 1300 36 2170 to book your spot.
