Do you think two bathrooms are better than one?

Some people may not see the point of having a second bathroom, but the truth is that they can help add value to your property.

If you search for properties for sale in your suburb with one bathroom and then compare their asking price with properties with two bathrooms, you will see that there is a significant difference in asking price. The same goes if you do a search for rental properties, renters will pay more for an extra bathroom and some may limit their search to two or more bathrooms.

Apart from the value that an extra bathroom can add, I’m sure we can all agree that they can make life easier, especially for big families with lots of people getting ready at once, or for people who like to have a separate bathroom for guests to use.

If you live on your own or are simply happy with the one bathroom however, then there’s probably not much point in adding another one. But adding an extra bathroom could be something to keep in mind if you want to add value to your home or if you just want to have a bit more personal space, then an extra bathroom could be for you.
