We’re sure that many in the Liverpool community have heard of Red Nose Day, a day where everyone is encouraged to wear a silly red nose to help raise awareness for a very serious issue.
Red Nose Day helps raise funds and awareness for SIDS and Kids, an organisation that is dedicated to saving the lives of babies and children during pregnancy, birth, infancy and childhood and to supporting bereaved families.
This year, as well as selling traditional Red Nose Day merchandise, SIDS and Kids is also asking supporters to get involved in their cause by participating in the Dare to Care project.
Dare to Care involves people taking on a personal challenge or dare while helping to raise funds. For example, a personal challenge might be going bungy jumping, a fitness goal or turning up to work in your pyjamas for a day!
Every dollar raised helps SIDS and Kids deliver their crucial education and community awareness programs and ultimately helps saves lives.
Red Nose Day takes place on Friday, June 27. To get involved in the Dare to Care project or to buy Red Nose Day merchandise, head to www.rednoseday.com.au.
