Tomorrow is the first day of July and for some people this will mark the start of at least a month of sobriety.
That’s because next month the Dry July challenge will be taking place to help raise funds to support adults living with cancer. The cause also gives people a chance to focus on themselves and their drinking habits, and it may just help some change their lives for the better.
For some of Liverpool’s locals, the thought of being 100% booze free may not sound too appealing, but think about all of the positives of saying no to alcohol for a month (or even longer!).
You will be saving money, you will be improving your health and wellbeing and best of all – no hangovers!
And of course, the other major benefit of giving up alcohol for Dry July is that you will be helping to raise money for people who really need it, with the proceeds of Dry July going to hospitals around Australia.
