Next week is Children’s Book Week in Liverpool and the community can get involved by heading to their local library to see what’s on offer.
There will be writing workshops, author talks and the announcement of the Writing Competition winners.

Book Parade for Young People of all ages
Liverpool City Library Plaza, Saturday 16 August 11am-12pm
Dress as your favourite book week character. Prizes for ‘best dressed’.
Patricia Bernard workshop for school-aged children

If you can’t make it to the Liverpool Library next week then you can still celebrate book week at home by pulling out your children’s favourite books and encouraging them to discover the joy of reading.
